Biographies
David - My name is David Moore. I am currently enrolled in Francis Libermann Catholic Elementary School as a grade eight in the gifted program. I do a few after school activities which include piano and taekwondo. I am in grade 5 for piano and I am a second degree black belt in taekwondo. I intend to stay at Francis Libermann Catholic Elementary school throughout my highschool years. I will also be attending the MST program that is at my school. I currently have no plans to what my future career will be but I am currently thinking of doing a career following science.
Thomas - Thomas Alvares is a grade 8 student who is delighted to be living in the great city of Toronto. He has a number of interests and hobbies some of which include playing guitar, chess, piano and tennis. He is an avid photographer and can often be seen at the lakefront clicking away pictures of wild birds. Thomas is a member of his local Tennis Club. His love for chess motivated him to start a Chess Club at school where students can pursue their interests in chess. Thomas actively participates in Piano competitions and has many awards to his credit. Thomas has enrolled in an MST (math, science, technology) program in high school, which he will start next school year. He is very interested in Science and plans to pursue a career within the field of science. Thomas loves travelling and experiencing different cuisines and cultures.

Chemicals in Chopsticks

Sommaire:Sources claim that disposable chopsticks are excessively bleached in order to turn the wood white and that the use of bleach poses a health risk to humans. Through a series of experiments, we attempted to investigate these claims by analyzing the level of chemicals in disposable chopsticks. The results as documented in this project justify whether or not these accusations hold true.
