| Keshvi Tilva Transporting Vaccines: The Cold Chain
Challenge: | Innovation | Category: | Junior | Region: | Peel | City: | Oakville, ON | School: | Sherwood Heights School - Erin Mills Campus | Abstract: | The cold chain is an uninterrupted series of storage and distribution activities which maintain a given temperature range. For my science fair project, I tested different insultation materials, considering their R values, as well as different container designs to keep vaccines in the right temperature range, which is usually 2-8*C. The experiments were carried out in both hot and cold environments. |
