Abstract:My project was done on a grain aeration study conducted by Ron Palmer. I wanted to see if his theory about turning off your aeration fans during the day because of the higher humidity levels was accurate. I simulated an aeration bin and a night and day environment. Then I aerated grain in my bin and tested the grain for moisture levels every half hour.
