My name is Soumya Srinivasan. I am a student studying in grade eight at Turnbull School. My hobbies are sports (soccer, volleyball, cricket, table tennis, badminton) and also, singing (bollywood). I also study hard and work to achieve my goals in school. I came first in my school science fair this year, as well as last year. I participated in the regionals both years, but I was most successful this year. My father is a computer scientist so that was where the inspiration of designing a circuit came from. This year, for my science fair, I wanted to do something that helped people, that could save lives. I had a few experiment ideas in mind, but I thought this one would go the farthest. I have an application for a patent, so further investigations depend on that. My advice to students thinking about doing a project would be 'The sky is the limit, Shoot for the stars. Do something you really enjoy.' In the future I am planning to be a doctor, again because I would like to make a difference and help people, who need my help. |
