My name is Mary and I am currently a grade 11 student at Webber Academy. Along with pursuing my interest in molecular biology, I also enjoy playing basketball on the school team and I like to recite poetry. My interest in DNA grew extensively starting in school. I was ecstatic to hear that my teachers were able to find a mentor for me whose main area of study was DNA. I also want to investigate the possibility of altering the genetic code and the tools to achieve that. It's imperative that students like myself stay motivated, passionate, and enjoy their projects like I do. |
