Biography
I am in grade 7 at Collège catholique Franco-Ouest. I am passionate about music and I have been playing the violin since age 6. I also enjoy playing sports and spending time with my family and friends. I was inspired to do this project when my youngest sister Lauren was born 2.5 years ago. She was refusing to take the soother but would only be entertained by the singing and dancing of my 7 years old brother Anthony. This project was extremely fun to make as I had to learn many new concepts. I encourage all students interested in science to pursue their ideas and to put the time and effort to make it happen. You shouldn't give as as it will take multiple trials before your concept actually works.

Challenge:Health
Category:Junior
Region:Ottawa
City:Nepean, ON
School:College catholique Franco-Ouest
Abstract:The goal of this project was to create an object that will calm infants when they cry without involving parents. In this concept, when the baby has the pacifier in his mouth, the system is in the standby mode. When the baby cries, the noise is captured by the microphone, and generates music and bright light to entertain the infant.
