Throughout my years of schooling I have always had a passion for learning. In the past two years I have won two "Student of the Month" awards, a certificate for reading 25 books in one year and an honours certificate. This year, I was elected president of the Entrepreneurial Club: "Amplifying Awareness". I am in the Leadership Club and I am in set design for my school's musical “Romeo & Juliet”. And now I am so pleased to be going to the Canada Wide Science Fair. The whole inspiration for my project was because of my travels. Last year I visited New York City and went to the American Museum of Natural History. There I saw "Creatures of the Light", an exhibit all about bioluminescence. I was so intrigued. I knew it would make an amazing project. As far as further investigations go, I just want to keep expanding my knowledge of bioluminescence. My advice for others making projects is to choose a topic that interests you. If you are not interested in the topic, you won't want to learn it or to teach it. |
