Annie Marie - Guten Tag! I’m Annie Ross, a grade nine student from Winnipeg Manitoba. It’s truly an honour and a privilege to get to go to the Canada Wide Science Fair for a third year in a row now! When not doing science fair related things, I’m at school, where I enjoy my classes, and according to my last report card (hate to brag…) I’m doing pretty snazzy in them too. When not doing slightly nerdy things, like being enthusiastic about the brilliant Harry Potter series, I play the piano, bake things, such as cake pops, which are quite swell, and I love to spend time with my family, and my friends, who are all rather nifty. In the future, I most certainly intend on going to university, where I imagine I will go into something to do with science, but the doors are still open! One thing I most certainly intend to do before I die is travel the world, and hopefully be on the show The Amazing Race, a television show about a race around the world. So, that’s about it. I’d love to close off with a science joke, but I’d have to Zinc about it! Oh gosh...
Chris - Hi, my name is Chris Lansang and I'm currently in 9th grade attending St.James Collegiate in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Throughout my school career I've won a fair number of awards, but having the opportunity to participate at Canada-Wide again this year still has me overwhelmed and appreciative. I enjoy acting within plays and musicals, and I have been involved in at least one local production every year, for five years. I am quite fond of eating large quantities of food every now and then, although I don't typically dive into "foreign cuisines and delicacies" too often. I have fun playing sports, despite not being part of any particular sports teams; therefore, you might only find me demonstrating my "athletic abilities" when I'm participating in gym class or running to school to avoid being marked late. I'd like to think I'm quite versatile in all aspects of school, so my decision on my future career is still undecided at this point in time, although science is always an option. I hope to travel much of the world someday, and to achieve great results in whatever field of work is in store for me.

Sommaire:Multitasking is a practice that is becoming more common as technology advances and society adapts a more hectic way of life. We felt that multitasking wasn't a viable option within a place of learning. This project seeks to inform learners, such as ourselves, the inefficiency and reality of how your brain copes with multiple inputs attempting to be processed by your sequential favouring brain.
