Equine Laminitis in the Kootenays

Abstract:I wanted to find out if equine laminitis is more common in the Kootenays than in other areas. Information from veterinarians indicates that in the Kootenays, most laminitis cases result from horses eating too many carbohydrates. To prevent unnecessary euthanasia, I created a laminitis e-newsletter, also available in veterinary clinics.
