Abstract:My project was designed to determine how much electromagnetic and particle radiation is emitted from a Liquid Crystal Display monitor, a Cathode Ray Tube monitor, a cordless phone, and a microwave. To do this, I used a home-built cloud chamber and several film badges of my own design.
