I go to Appleby College in Oakville. I enjoy hunting, skiing, volleyball, and drawing. The inspiration for my project was my mom's friend who is vision impaired. He uses a dog guide as a source of his navigation. I though that even though dogs are highly trained, dogs are still dogs, and something can go wrong any minute. So I was inspired to make a device for the vision impaired that would be easier and safer to use. I hope to work more on the model I've made, and improve it. To those thinking about making a project, think of something you're passionate about, and make it come to life. |
