| I’m 13 years old and currently attend Ecole New Era School, Brandon, Manitoba. I moved to Brandon because my father was transferred to Shilo with 2 Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI). I speak several languages but I’m fluent in English, French, and Portuguese. I dabbled in Spanish, Italian and Tagalog (Filipino) with my friends. I enjoy dancing, acting, singing, and playing percussion for band. I’m also very active on our schools sports teams; I play basketball and volleyball where I was assistant captain. I’m very passionate about leadership; I do many things to show my leadership such as speaking to others about our school and the French language program; student council President and last years Secretary. I was asked to be a Student Representative at the Brandon School Division budget review. Last year, I won the Canadian Parents for French Discours for Ecole New Era School and represented our school at the finals. This year i was happy to be 2nd runner up for Best of fair award at the Western Manitoba Science Fair. |
