Abstract:Ice on any road is a public nuisance and is very hazardous. It affects the traction of vehicles and may result in a driver losing control of a vehicle. This project tested to see if an environmentally friendly solution could be used to de-ice roads instead of the corrosive sodium chloride presently used.
