Biography
Neha Gulati is a grade 8 student at Lakeview Public School in Grimsby, Ontario. She has been participating in her regional science fair ever since she was in grade 5 and has a passion for science. Along with her passion for science comes a passion for math. When Neha was in Grade 4 she participated in the Brock Caribou Math Competition she placed 1st and continued to participate in grades 5 and 6. In grade 6 when the contest went Canada wide, she managed to place 5th overall. Besides, math and science competitions Neha has also participated in public speaking competitions, both in English and French, charity events and much more. She also partakes in the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program at her local Air Cadet Squadron. Neha has been playing the piano for the past 6 years and hopes to continue. She is a very enthusiastic learner and is in her school's French Immersion program. In her free time Neha enjoys doing things such as, playing soccer, painting and volunteering. After high school Neha wishes to pursue a degree in neurobiology.

Abstract:This study tests a variety of methods for improving math fact fluency. Each of the methods was evaluated based on how it improved the subject's math fact fluency, attitude towards math and opinion of math. The positive aspects of these methods were then adjusted and combined to create recommendations for what a strategy for math fact practice should have to be most effective.
