Biography
My name is Laney Beaulieu and I am a grade 12 student who attends Deninu School. Deninu is stationed in Fort Resolution, NT and has a population of roughly 500 people. I was inspired to do this project because I wanted to effect positive change in my community by attempting to circumvent alcoholism, which is currently a major problem. After I complete my post-secondary education I hope to continue researching cures for substance dependence. I would advise other students who are thinking about doing a Science Fair project to study something they are passionate about because that will make the experience extremely rewarding.
