Biographie
My name is Jack Pemberton. I am a grade 8 student at West Hants Middle School in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia. I reside in the Annapolis Valley with my mom, dad, and younger sister. I am interested in pursuing a career in electrical engineering. In the past two years, I have won two Regional Science Fair Golds and most recently, won the best Environmental Science Fair project. This will be my first time at Nationals! My inspiration for my project topic this year was, to inform people in my community about the environmental considerations relating to the causeway and aboiteau reconstruction project (Highway 101 Twinning Project). I plan to further my understanding of the project by; staying in touch with the number of engineers and scientists I have met along the way. I want to stay informed as the project unfolds over the next 5 years. For fellow students interested in doing a science fair project...start by picking a topic that inspires you!
