| My name is Nitish Bhatt, and I am a Grade 10 student from Gonzaga High School in St. John’s Newfoundland. My inspiration in the science stems from my firm belief that knowledge is empowerment. In school have taken and enjoy Physics and Chemistry courses. My studies in science have sparked my interests in exploring the field of planetary sciences and understanding the processes that shape our planet. I hope to pursue a career in this field to further my knowledge and understanding of earth systems. At the regional science fair, I received to honor of being “Best in Fair” as well as receiving awards from Memorial University Department of Physics and Royal Astronomical Society. Outside of my activities in science, I also hold community service as an integral activity. I volunteer with local organizations like the Canadian Blood Services and Association of New Canadians. I am also the founder of an organization called United4Literacy which works to empower children through education and knowledge. |

Forcing for Climate Change? Computational Modelling of Earth's Climate Systems

I discovered several projected CO2 forcing cause an ice free globe for a length of time, which is dependent on nature of forcing. I also formulated a theory which explained growth and decay responses to forcing in the future climate scenarios. |
