My name is Evan Langille, a grade 12 student from Central Kings Rural High located in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. My interests include Music, Technical Theatre, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In the Annapolis Valley finding project support seemed very difficult. I didn't let this suppress my idea and I used this frustration to spring forward and create a working laboratory in my home. I enjoy experimentation and investigation of various topics, with independent studies focusing on Hematology, Cell Biology, Microbiology and Biochemistry. I plan to attain a BSc in Biochemistry with a focus in Molecular Biology, then on to further graduate studies. I have a dream of opening a community science lab to make science more accessible to students and to provide opportunities that I didn't have because of where I live. I try as a student to serve the science community as much as possible by judging junior science fairs and doing demos and science shows at school. Science is my passion! |
