| Biography |

| William Hamilton lives with his Mom, Dad, Sister, and little Brother on a farm in North Eastern BC. He is an avid hunter, fisherman, farmer, basketball player, ball hockey player, baseball player, and mandolin musician. He can often be found out on his quad or snowmobile with his Grandpa out on the Ducks Unlimited project surrounding his farm. William is the recipient of the Gemini Sustainability Senior Award and the Award from the Professions of Engineers and Geoscientists handed out at the 2016 Northern BC Regional Science Fair. Living among Oil and Gas industrial operations, William was inspired to come up with an idea to deal with the very real problem of H2S exposure. William plans to further his innovation by approaching the local Oil and Gas companies for support in resources and distribution of his idea. His advice to anyone considering a science project is “Think of a question about something that inspires you or a topic that you enjoy learning about”. |
