Biography
My name is Callum Morrison and I am a grade 7 student attending Rorketon School. I live in Woods Creek Manitoba. Rorketon is 15 minutes away from where I live and is a K-12 school with 76 kids and 9 teachers. It is a pretty small school compared to others. I am involved with Ukrainian Dancing, baseball, guitar and also 4-H. My schedule is always very busy. I have a brother and a sister. in my spare time I like to go fishing, hunting and to hang out with my friends. The inspiration for my project came from my mom doing a mini experiment which was to see if lettuce could reproduce a second time after being cut to the base. What I have chosen to do my project on is if vegetables can reproduce a second time after being cut to the base. In the future I would like to further my education to become a paramedic.

Abstract:My project focuses on the regrowth of vegetables. Some vegetables are able to regrow in water due to their meristem in the root. I have tested various vegetables like celery, romaine lettuce, green onions, garlic and cabbage. These vegetables have a meristem. With my project I hope to save others money by showing them the regrowing process.
