Liquid Fabric Softener: Flaming Comfort?

Abstract:This project was designed to evaluate the effects of liquid fabric softener on fabric flammability. Tests showed that 80% of the fabrics washed with liquid fabric softener showed an increase in flammability from the first wash through to the sixth wash.
