I am a grade nine student at R.F. Staples school in Westlock, Alberta. I am very involved in both academics and extracurricular activities. For the last three years, I have been the topper of my class and received the "Student of the year" award. I have been the treasurer in Grade 7 and president of the student council for the last two years. I am part of the Badminton, Soccer, Rugby, and track and field team. I am also a green belt in Taekwondo, a level ten Red Cross swimmer and a referee for the soccer teams. I have been taking part in the regional science fairs since grade 5 and successful every year to secure a gold or a silver medal apart from special awards like the Environment Canada and APEGA award. This will be my second time competing at the CWSF. I was motivated to do this project when I first read about wireless charging. It fascinated me that energy could be transferred through air, and I worked on improving it. I would like to study the effects of radio waves on humans in the future. I encourage other students to do projects with wide applications. |
