Biography
My name is Katelyn Anthony. I am 14 years old and I live in Newport, Nova Scotia. I play piano, I play on a volleyball team and I also partake in 4H. I have one dog named Ginny and 8 chickens. I also have two brothers named Morgan and Ryan. I have won two volunteering awards and the Acadia University School of Nutrition and Dietetics award at the AVRSB regional science fair as well as a gold medallion. I was inspired to do this project when I saw products advertising a new antibacterial substance called "Silver Nanoparticles" added to their products. In the future, I would like to see how silver nanoparticles affect diseases and viruses. If I have any advice for other students looking to do a project, its to be dedicated, interested and to also have fun while your doing it!
