Iqaluit’s Water
Challenge:Health
Category:Intermediate
Region:Qikiqtaaluk
City:Iqaluit, NU
School:Inuksuk H.S.
Abstract:For our project we studied Iqaluit’s water. We wanted to find what amounts of certain chemicals were in the water and whether they varied from different sources. We were interested in this topic because the water around Iqaluit has different tastes. We tested four different sources of water; Frobisher Bay, piped water, trucked water and water from our school fountain.
