Biography
I am a fifteen year old grade ten student that enjoys competitive sports and competes at a high level in nordic skiing, swimming, and soccer. coach part-time in a swim club and maintain over a ninety percent average. Recently I returned from three weeks in Peru where I volunteered at boys orphanage. I regularly volunteer with our local Rotary club. I was inspired to do this project last winter. I was chipping away ice dams on the roof of our house and started thinking about the negative implications of ice dams. I felt a new approach was needed and I started playing with new models for eavestroughs. My advice to future science fair participants is to plan well. Budget your time and follow your plan. Do not wait until the last minute!
