Biographies
Sarah - I go to St.Michael Catholic school in Niagara on the Lake. I started programming about two years ago. I love video editing and have been doing it since Gr.4. I'm interested in stop motion, green screen effects and directing. In fact i'm currently directing "The Outsiders" with my Gr.7 class. I'm currently in Gr.7 RCM piano and a playing in a soccer travel team. I love participating in Lego Robotics camps and clubs. I love watching Doctor Who and Fairytale. We got the inspiration for our project from Julia one of our very good friends who is visually impaired. We got to learn what she liked to do for fun and how she played games. We would like to develop a multiplayer audio game for the visually impaired. My advice to other students is: Know your project and love what you do.
Juvea - I play travel soccer for Niagara United. I love Kpop, and the Korean culture. I also enjoy watching anime, which is Japanese cartoons. I am also learning the Korean language. The inspiration for our project was that we found an audio game on the App Store and decided that we should also create an audio game. My good friend Julia, who is also visually impaired, loves video games but she cannot play them, so once we brought her ours she was very excited. In the future, we plan to create a multiplayer audio game and possibly create an app based off of our game. For all the students thinking to do a project, I would say that every student should never just give up because their stressed, it will all be worth it in the end, and everything will come together. Also, have fun while your doing it and get involved because that's what makes the whole experience even better.
