Biographie
I am passionate about science, especially human biology and anatomy. In addition to science, I enjoy solving challenging mathematics problems and was a member of the winning team in the Regional Math Challenge this spring. Reading books (like The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas) and music (I play piano, violin, and guitar, and also enjoy singing in my Youth Choir) are some of my hobbies. Art is also a passionate hobby of mine, and am commonly found with a pen in my hand. I have enjoyed my experience as a participant in Science Fair and encourage any young minds to create their own fun projects. The inspiration for my science fair project came from a family friend who lost his tent to a gust of wind on the top of a mountain. I was curious to which type and design of tents would not blow away so easily.

Sommaire:For this year's Science Fair, I studied aerodynamics and a tent's susceptibility to wind. I designed and made seven miniature tents with varying characteristics and recorded the distance each tent could be blown by a hairdryer. After collecting my data, I concluded that several variables (height, weight, base area, symmetry) could affect susceptibility to wind. I also created the best tent based on my data.
