Datasets containing many dimensions are difficult to analyze using simple mechanisms, like scatterplots, as we cannot visually interpret the data. Computers, however, are not limited by the number of dimensions they can analyze. This allows them to take multidimensional data and construct useful grouping, which can then be displayed for users. |
