Biography
I am 12 years old and I live in Burns Lake, B.C. I go to school at Francois Lake. I like outdoor activities and I feel that I am lucky to live in an area with so much nature. I love kayaking in the summer and building forts at school. I love fantasy books and games. I enjoy cooking and I sometimes invite my classmates over for dinner parties. I also love to garden in my flower bed which I plant every year. I take piano and vocal lessons as well as speech arts lessons. I was inspired to do my project when I noticed the poor water quality in our area and the abundance of Canada Geese which have become common on our lakes and lawns. In the future, I would like to continue to test the benefits of goose droppings when used as a fertilizer. I would also like to research further into the growth cycle of cold water algae. For others who want to participate in the science fair, remember to do something you enjoy. It doesn't matter how hard the project is, but if you enjoy it, it will definitely be worth it.

Abstract:My project tested the effect of goose dropping tea on the growth of plants. I had four groups of sweet peas: 3 test groups and a control group. After several fertilizations, I discovered that the plants watered with any concentration of goose dropping tea grew better in weight, height, diameter and number of branches than those irrigated with water.
