| Hi! I am Sophie Petersen. I am a grade 10 student at olds high school. In general I love to learn. I am I interested in fashion/clothing, photography and traveling. I have had the privilege of traveling many places across the world and I love how unique each place is. I wish to persue business management and or fashion design in post secondary. I also love the world of economics and trade and wish to persue a career in that area. I feel passionate about the worlds pollution and that’s where my project came from. I hope to discover a way to preform my project on a larger industrial scale. Advice I would give is to find a topic that you are really ready to dive into. |

This process was completed at a labrotory with the help of a chemist. We put tiny pieces of high and low density polyethylene in a flask with kaolin clay (catalyst) and heated it. The materials vapourized and were condensed. This resulted in a light distillate with the properties of gasoline. |
