My name is Melissa and I am currently a grade eleven student at The Study. I started developing a love and passion for the health sciences at a young age, and am very fortunate for all the opportunities that I have received. Sharing my work with eager minds at science fairs and learning from fellow peers is always extremely motivating. I had the honour to present my project at Intel ISEF and at MILSET, which were both unforgettable and amazing experiences. Other hobbies and interests that I have are ballet, cooking and baking, shopping and singing. Next year, I plan on continuing my studies in health sciences because I would like to become a researcher, doctor, or teacher, or maybe even everything combined! Canada Wide is a first for me, and I am excited to present a new project, to make new friends and to have a blast! Cancer research interests me so much, because it affects so many people in our society. That is why I plan on pursuing my future investigations in this field. |
