Abstract:This project uses solar energy to heat water to pasteurisation temperatures. Solar water pasteurisation decontaminates water in developing countries, stopping the spread of disease. Construction plans were developed, and three pasteurisers were built and then tested using contaminated water. Pasteurisers were made of recyclable materials, costing nothing. After each experiment water tests were conducted. Results proved that the hybrid design is the most efficient.
