Abstract:This project compares the lung capacity of teenage smokers and non-smokers. The total vital capacity of fifteen teenagers aged fourteen to nineteen was measured using a six litre lung bag. We found that the average lung capacity of the non-smoking group was higher than that of the smoking group.
