| My name is Toni. I am 13 years old and in grade 7 at the Linden School. I enjoy science, arts and sports. I play violin, excel at skiing and like to participate in our school play. Next year I look forward to joining my school’s Ultimate Frisbee Team. My inspiration for this project came when I was on a long car ride and I was really bored. I wanted to know what activities I could do to make time go by faster. I was also interested to discover what activities cause time to slow down. For further investigations in my project, I think I could get more accurate results if I test different types of music and TV shows. I would also add tasks such as drawing and reading. Overall, since some of the results were inconclusive I would also want to test more kids. The advice I would want to share with a student who is thinking about doing a science project would be to never give up. Eventually you will come across an obstacle blocking your scientific path, it’s your choice to either work around it or give up. I say keep going! |
