Abstract:I performed a comparative analysis of fluorescent versus incandescent bulbs. The light emitted per watt consumed for each type of bulb was measured. My analysis shows that fluorescent bulbs are more efficient but do not necessarily meet up to manufacturers' claims. Ideas for future lamp designs are also discussed.
