| Aidan Aird is a grade 10 Pre-AP student at Saint Brother Andre CHS in Markham, ON and has a 95% GPA. Science Fairs have greatly impacted Aidan’s life and ignited his journey of #STEM social entrepreneurship through the many innovations he has design & tested. He is ecstatic to attend his 4th Canada-Wide Science Fair with his project The Water Wheel Cart Plus – Improving the Quality of Life in Developing Nations. The Water Wheel Cart Plus is an innovative, highly efficient, modular, multi-functional cart. This invention can easily transport and purify water, help plant and irrigate crops, transport goods and supplies, produce electricity and has the ability to help generate revenue. When Aidan isn’t working on his innovations he can be found presenting or doing #STEM outreach to help encourage more youth to feel #STEM brilliant through www.developinginnovations.org, a not-for-profit youth organization that Aidan founded in 2014. Developing Innovations aims to inspire, celebrate and promote #STEM students through its website, community science outreach and workshops.
