Abstract:This project experimented the difference between human reaction time with a hands-free cell-phone conversation and without. The reaction times were measured using a simple audible stimulus experiment, which involves subjects catching a ruler on an audible cue. Reaction times with the cell-phone conversation were found 30% longer than ones without.
