My name is Victoria Platzer. I'm in 7th grade and am 13 years old. I did my project on Invasive plants. I first got interested in this project when I was reading a article based in Texas. It was talking about how they had a bunch of new plants in their state and were not sure how to get ride of them. This really intrigued me and I decided to do my project on something like it. I hope to expand my project over a time span of 2 years. I believe that picking a project is something you have to spend a fair amount of time on. You have to be sure that the idea is interesting and something that you want to learn more about. You also have to be sure that you are committed to it because a science fair project takes a lot of time. I do not plan on following this category as a career. I so far plan on becoming either a veterinarian or a police officer. I loved doing my project and am glad I got this opportunity. |

I had to find the easiest way to remove seeds from dirt. I collected dirt from vehicles around town. I sifted through dirt looking for seeds. After sifting I planted the sifted dirt . I looked at the potential seeds under a stereoscope then planted them. |
