Abstract:Our project investigates the potential of using fly ash, which usually ends up in a disposal site, to create a similar product to drywall. We mixed fly ash with various amounts of Plaster of Paris and sodium bicarbonate with water and applied 3 tonnes of pressure using a press we designed and welded ourselves.
