| My name is Ryan Churchill. I’m 16 years old and live in Yarmouth, N.S. I’m in grade 10 at YCMHS and would like to study in the field of engineering, specifically robotics. My favorite subjects in school are math and science. I was also in the French immersion program for 10 years. Things I like to do in my spare time are coding, building things, piano, video games, badminton, curling, and using my flight simulator, because I want to get my pilots licence. I volunteer as a youth leader and I am a summer camp leader. I was also a 4H member for 7 years. I got the inspiration for my project from a problem I had. This lead to the creation of Phone 2 Phone, which solved my problem. I would say to other people with a project in mind that you don’t have to wait to start your project. I am proud to be representing YCMHS and N.S at the 2019 CWSF. |
