Biography
Ariana Jones is a 12 year old girl who is will be attending the Canada Wide Science fair in May 2014. Ariana enjoys a variety of activities outside of and in school. At school, she enjoys art classes, phys ed, and, of course, science class. Outside of school, Ariana frequents karate classes, where she has acquired many different colored belts and awards. She also plays the violin and attends lessons once a week. When she is at home, Ariana enjoys reading, writing, drawing, video games, sewing, playing, snacking, and watching the occasional television show. She has always loved animals, making her way to zoos, aquariums, and pet shops as often as possible. This love of animals is perhaps what drove her to conduct an experiment involving pigs. Though she would like to have many pets when she grows up, Ariana does not think she will pursue a career as a vet. She thinks she will probably be a doctor for humans instead. Following her award at the regional science fair, Ariana is very excited to be attending the Canada Wide.
