Abstract:Human impact as the result of economic activity is playing an increasing role in the rapid decline of the world's native grasslands. Excess trail development, in particular, is a huge adversary of grassland conservation. This project measured edge effect in an attempt to fully understand the impact of the "human footprint", and focused on analyzing the effects of trail degradation.
