| Dheiksha Jayasankar NanoGrow: Nanoparticles as a Plant Growth Enhancer
Défi: | Découverte | Catégorie: | Junior | Région: | Niagara | Ville: | St. Catharines, ON | École: | Power Glen E.S. | Sommaire: | Nanoparticles are often used in drug delivery for targeted treatments. Their use in plants has not been examined in detail. This project investigated the use of carbon and silver nanoparticles as plant growth enhancers. Both nanoparticles increased plant growth approximately 3 times. These results have applications in the agriculture industry and can be used to combat the imbalance of food causing the global food crisis. |
