Abstract:This project tested insulation and building materials for their ability to resist conductive heat loss. Results were measured by comparing the inside and outside surface temperatures of test materials using a home made test box. Extruded Polystyrene's consistent structure proved best at trapping air and reducing conductive heat loss.
