Biographie
My name is Lane Edgar and I go to Brookside Public School. I participate in local hockey, soccer, baseball, and 4H. I also do school sports that include basketball and volleyball. I have interest in active-playing sports, fantasy sports, and country music. I got my inspiration for my project from all of the sports I watch and play and from the known fact that that there are more right hand dominant athletes than left. I wanted to see if your eyes played a part in that. A way I could take the project further is to see if age plays a part in the performance factor, because eyes generally gets worse with age. Some advice that I'd give to someone starting a project is to make sure it is something that you have a passion for because that makes it easier to talk about. Also, make sure that it helps people, because everyone can care about that.

Cross Dominance
Défi:Santé
Catégorie:Junior
Région:Avon Maitland-Huron Perth
Ville:Lucknow, ON
École:Brookside P.S.
Sommaire:Cross dominance happens when a person's dominant eye is different than their dominant hand. This project was done to investigate whether or not being cross dominant is a hindrance or a help to humans. I used the sport of basketball to conduct a study on the different dominances of humans and how it may affect their play in sport.
