| My name is Maitland Roy, the inspiration that lead to my project idea was an optical illusion book that was found in my classroom and looking up "two perspectives optical illusions". Plans that I have for future investigations would be testing and looking into if colour has an effect on what your eyes see while looking at optical illusions. Advice that I would give to other students thinking about doing a project would be go off of what your passion or enjoyments are, because the more passionate you are about your project, the more you will enjoy it and it will come out with better results. Information about me is; I enjoy volleyball, bike rides, and hanging out with my friends. I'm the future, I would be ingested in becoming some type of scientist. In school, I joined the basketball, volleyball and soccer teams which are sport that I am passionate about. Also, I am planning on joining the mass band event at school which is a gathering of students that play in a huge band together. I also participated in the St. Donat trip excursion which was in February. |

This experiment tested the responses of both males and females, from ages 4 to 85, on their perception of five ambiguous optical illusions and then compared the results. The findings showed that neither age nor gender had a meaningful effect on perception. |
