| Hi! My name is Shayan Hemmati, and I am a grade 11 student attending Webber Academy in Calgary, Alberta. My eyes always light up when I talk about biology or anything that relates to the sciences. I have always wanted to research the properties of cancer in a lab and I was finally able to thanks to my scientific coordinator arranging a mentorship for me. This experience has been invaluable! I encourage all students interested in the sciences to harness their potential by pursuing their passion. |

Using an adenovirus as a vector, the gene that encodes for ING1 is expressed in these OSCC cells and the cell responses are analyzed. |
