I am a secondary V student passionate about science and communication. I've discovered recently how closely both are linked: we need people to communicate to the world discoveries and scientific informations, anything that can help the public comprehend the world it lives in. I long to discover the world and all its wonders, and that is why I'v registered in a double DEC (in CEGEP) next year: I want to see the world from both a cultural and a scientific point of view. I've always been a very strong academic student, aiming for perfection in everything I do. However, I never do anything just because it would look good on a résumé. My motto is quite simple, actually: Take something you like - anything, even if it may seem dull, pointless or too "easy" - and transform it into something that's worthy of the best résumé in town. I think my project reflects that motto perfectly well: this subject might seem too simple to some, but the heart and the hard work that I put in it make it so much more interesting than if I'd taken a subject just because it sounded "intelligent". |
