Abstract:Do different types of commercial bottled waters support the growth of common bacteria to varying extents? Four types of bottled water were examined, including tap water. The bottles were opened and were in my kitchen for two weeks. I sampled the brands of water at three day intervals. The samples were placed on agar-nutrient plates and incubated until colonies could easily be counted.
