Biography
My name is Deklen Crocker. I was born on July 7th, 1999 and I am fourteen years old. I go to East Three Secondary School in Inuvik and I am in the ninth grade. This is my second time competing at the Canada-Wide Science Fair. I really enjoy working with batteries and other power sources when I get the chance. I am a good singer. I enjoy playing many sports such as hockey, curling, floor hockey, and soccer; and in the summer, longboarding. I have been to the U18 Optimist International Curling Championships in 2012. I have been to the M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships for Team NWT. I will be representing Team NWT for the Canada Winter Games in curling. You’ll see that I am short for my age but I don’t let that get in my way.
